Event Description

A brief overview of basic self defense and risk-avoidance techniques.  Participants will have the opportunity to practice the skills they learn with certified instructors. 


Please wear comfortable work-out type clothing.

Class will be held in the Evans building, 2130 S. High St., west of the Driscoll Center South building. The class is free to students, staff and faculty. Reserve your spot today, class size is limited.

DU Campus Safety logs over 62,000 computer aided dispatch events (approximately 170 per day) and over 13,000 calls for service. Additionally, approximately 1,000 reports are written annually by Campus Safety Officers.
