About the Events

Columbus Youth Guild at Ronin Training Center, and Ohio Judo, Inc., are pleased to invite you to the first meet of the Ohio Judo, Inc. Monthly Developmental Open Judo training Program. This program is being run to enhance development opportunities for Ohio judo players by providing routine workouts on a monthly basis where players can learn from and work out with judoka from outside their own judo club. Although designed for Ohio players, we highly encourage judoka from surrounding states to take part in this program. The workouts will rotate to different host clubs throughout Ohio so no group will always have to travel across the state to participate. If your club is interested in hosting one of these workouts, please contact Ray Smith (OJI Development Director) or Russ Scherer (OJI President).

Whether you are new to Judo (welcome!), interested in competing, or interesting in studying Judo as a Martial Art - this is the place for you. The Columbus Youth Guild is a grass roots non-profit 501 C3 group. We offer free Judo to the community at Ronin Training Center Columbus, OH. Our programs are parent-run and kid-funded. 100% of all the team fees will be raised by the players through charity events, fundraisers, and local business sponsorship.
