  • Educator Clarence Davis will do the opening session. His topic "Connectivity."
  • Quineka Ragsdale, author of the children's history book series "Demarcus Jones and the Solar Calendar," will share why she writes about history and the importance of understanding your roots.
  • Chef Cassondra Armstrong, chef, caterer and author of several cook books, is catering the food and will share how to eat healthy without losing the flavor.
  • Barry Jenkins, pastor of  Lakestone Chapel in Granbury and author of "On The Road to Glory" and "Male Masculinity," who will discuss men's role in society.
  • Darren Brown, Kansas City, Mo., entrepreneur and author of "Bug: Straight Talk," who will share his story of overcoming addiction and the path to redemption.
