Iceland is a land abundant in beauty, from its glaciers to its waterfalls, from seascapes to lagoons. At every corner of the land, there is something uniquely fascinating that offers photographers a chance to discover the magic of the landscape and the artist within. September is an ideal time for photography as the summer crowds have cleared and the skies become darker and more dramatic. INCLUDES
8 nights lodging**, airport transfers, transportation throughout Iceland, breakfast in hotel daily, meals where noted, field instruction, class instruction and photo critiques.
NOT INCLUDED
Airfare, meals (except where noted and daily breakfast) passport or visa fees and travel insurance. (Please note that you are responsible for transportation costs associated with your US departure).
PAYMENT PLANS ARE AVAILABLE
**Lodging is based on double occupancy. All rooms consist of 2 twin beds. You will be paired with another participant for lodging unless single supplement is requested.
SINGLE SUPPLEMENT for private hotel rooms without room-share is available for an additional $1200.
SPOUSES/PARTNERS are welcome on this JKPW workshop (non-photographing) for an additional fee of $2500 to cover additional lodging, meals and transportation.

We scout, and scout, and then scout some more before every workshop, even if it is one we do on a regular basis. We want you to get the most out of your workshop, so we do everything we can to ensure your happiness and success.
ITINERARY
DEPARTURE DAY: FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 28
Today you will transfer on your own to the airport in time to catch an overnight flight to Keflavik, Iceland (KEF). Flight not included.
DAY 1: SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 29
Arrive in Keflavik, Iceland (KEF). We will begin with a group breakfast to charge you up after your travel. You will then be transferred to your farm house in Vik. The afternoon will be at your leisure. Meet & Greet at 5pm followed by WELCOME DINNER.
DAY 2: SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 30
Sunrise field session followed by breakfast. Spend the day photographing waterfalls and Icelandic ponies. Night photo session.
DAY 3: MONDAY, OCTOBER 1
Sunrise field session followed by breakfast. Afternoon and sunset field session at Gulfoss waterfall and thermal areas.Night photo session.
DAY 4: TUESDAY, OCTOBER 2
Sunrise field session followed by breakfast. Sunset field session photographing ponies and waterfalls. Night photo session.
DAY 5: WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 3
Sunrise field session followed by breakfast. Depart Vik and transfer to Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. Sunset field session at glacier lagoon followed by *northern lights photo session.
DAY 6: THURSDAY, OCTOBER 4
Sunrise field session followed by breakfast. Field session in Svartifoss National Park. *Northern lights photo session at the glacier lagoon.
DAY 7: FRIDAY, OCTOBER 5
Sunrise field session followed by breakfast. Afternoon, sunset and night field sessions photographing glaciers, black sand beaches with ice and *northern lights.
DAY 8: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 6
Sunrise field session followed by breakfast. Transfer to Reykjavik.
DAY 9: SUNDAY, OCTOBER 7
Breakfast followed by transfer to airport for return flight.
We will process our images on a regular basis through out the workshop.
*We will remain flexible on night photography so that we are photographing Northern Lights on all possible days.

INSURANCE
All participants are strongly advised to purchase travel protection insurance. Please protect your investment!
NOTES
Most international flights are overnight flights. However, departures on Saturday morning with arrival at 11:40pm are also available. If you choose to depart and arrive Saturday night, we will of course arrange for your hotel transfer from the airport.
Minimum number of participants is 3. If you place a deposit and JKPW does not meet the required minimum, 100% of deposit will be refunded. Jennifer King Photography Workshops will not reimburse you for booked airfare. Please inquire when workshop has received minimum participants to proceed with airfare booking.
•Northern lights cannot be guaranteed. These lights begin in September with darkest days, and the workshop is scheduled around the new moon for best chance of success.
CANCELLATION POLICY
We must receive written notice of your cancellation, at which time the following fees are non-refundable:
121+ DAYS: REFUNDABLE LESS $500 FEE
120-91 DAYS: REFUNDABLE LESS 50% OF WORKSHOP FEE
90 DAYS OR LESS: NON-REFUNDABLE
No partial refunds are made for unused portions or services of a trip for any reason whatsoever. Trips are sold as a package only. This policy also applies to tour extensions and independent travel arrangements. Cancellation fees are not transferable.
HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS Jennifer King Photography Workshops are for people in average good health. Trips require the ability to carry camera equpment while walking and/or hiking on different terrains. If you have concerns about your capabilities and/or fitness as it relates to this trip, please contact our office before reserving a space.
All participants must have their own medical insurance coverage valid in the countries visited on the photo tour and workshops. Jennifer King Photography Workshops is not responsible for medical costs incurred during your trip. Medical circumstances will not be considered as exceptions to our cancellations.
