2018 Financial Capability Summit

The 2018 Financial Capability Summit returns to the Tacoma Art Museum, Thursday, May 10th!

This year's Summit is about 'Poverty's Story: Reconstructing the Narrative Through Organizational Change.' We'll dive into the history of poverty and how it has shaped the way financial capability services are delivered in our communities. You'll also learn ways to design and deliver financial capability solutions that create a positive experience for people impacted by poverty.

Come curious, leave inspired! We're looking forward to this year's talks and the discussions that will take place. We hope to see you there!

The Summit will feature many thought-provoking talks on some of the following topics:

The Prosperity Agenda

http://www.theprosperityagenda.org

The Prosperity Agenda designs solutions that fuel the potential in people impacted by poverty. This happens a number of ways – from adult career readiness initatives to financial empowerment through coaching and savings programs. As people are able to earn a living wage, they can accrue assets that keep them out of financial jeopardy. We do our work from the ground up, testing and evaluating real programs, and taking our findings to advocates who can influence policies that drive change from the top. We hope that, through these efforts, we can increase economic mobility and make the American Dream possible for those who desire it.
