This session will take place from 1:00 - 3:00 PM. We will meet in the CHS Rotunda, and will then walk over to the Wayne Grube Park across from the high school. Please dress appropriately for the weather. If we can't go outside due to rain/snow, we'll walk inside CHS.

Guided imagery is a session of directed thoughts and suggestions that guide your imagination toward a relaxed, focused state. You will need to be dressed in comfortable clothes and be able to lie down on a mat in a supine position. It is advised that participants bring along any or all of the following: a yoga mat, a beach towel, a small pillow, and/or a small blanket. Guided imagery is based on the concept that your body and mind are connected. Using all of your senses, your body seems to respond as though what you are imagining is real. This relaxed state may improve your attitude, stress-level and sense of well-being. This state is best achieved if you are focused, comfortable and warm.
Learn easy, relaxing yoga moves and breathing for stress relief and relaxation. **Be sure to bring a yoga mat, blanket, or beach towel.

Participants in this session must share a healthy recipe prior to this session. On the day of the session, participants must bring enough small samples of the recipe for a group of 15-20 individuals to enjoy. All participants will receive a copy of the recipes for each of the healthy foods/snacks/beverages taste tested.

Help to complete several knotted lap quilts to be donated to Veterans organizations. No experience necessary - just willing hands and a loving heart. I will supply everything that is needed to complete this next step.
