St. Louis' annual Irish celebration, the St. Patrick's Day Parade "Meet the Irish" Dinner, takes place the night before the parade at the Hilton St. Louis at the Ballpark in downtown St. Louis. It is a formal evening of dinner and entertainment.
The "Meet the Irish" Dinner begins with cocktails and entertainment at 6:30 PM.
Dinner is at 8 PM. During dinner, we introduce our various dignitaries from Ireland and the United States. And, after dinner, there is dancing with entertainment provided. It is a fitting kickoff to the events of the parade weekend.

Now in our 48th year, the Metropolitan St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee has grown from one small St. Patrick's Day event to three public world-class events and a vibrant membership organization. The committee was founded with the goal of bringing the St. Louis area a celebration of Irish involvement in the American experience. Membership in the committee consists of an all-volunteer pool of men and women from a broad spectrum of St. Louis backgrounds. They possess the desire to better the environment around them by extending the resources of talent and financial support, for the benefit of those in need within the St. Louis community.
