GENERAL QUESTIONS: Q & A
Q: Do I really need to read this section?
A: Yes! Every person going and every parent should read through this and be familiar with what it says. If you miss something that is said on this, don’t be looking for compassion from the leaders!
Q: Does the church have everything it needs for Creation?
A: We think! But to be sure we need your help! We will have a Creation Prep Day on Wednesday, June 24th starting at 1pm. During this time we will sort and set up tents and other things so we will be ready to go when Tuesday rolls around.
Q: What exactly is the Creation Festival?
A: Creation combines the awesome fun of camping with a great variety of Christian music and Bible based teaching.
a. Wrong thinking - Creation is rock ‘n’ roll only.
b. Right thinking - Camping + Seminars + Music = Creation
Q: When are we going and how much does it cost?
A: The morning of Tuesday, July 27th to late afternoon on Sunday, July 2nd. The trip costs $150/student (but early bird tickets will be avalible). Scholarships (for first trips) and Work and Save opportunities (for everyone else) are available.
Q: Where is it?
A: Agape Farm, Mt. Union, PA (About 2 hrs west of Harrisburg, PA)
Q: What is our primary purpose for participating in Creation:
A: To grow in our relationship with God and with each other.
Q: Do I need to know anything special if I am driving up separate from the group?
A: Yes! If you are not going up on the bus you will need to talk to Pastor DJ about 3 things:
a. Reservation Card(s)
b. Vehicle Pass
c. Possibly helping us save on the cost of ice by bringing food up later in the week.
Q: Will I have any responsibilities at Creation?
A: Every day different people will be responsible for different things. They will include: dishes, trash, making food, cleaning up the camp site, ice, and anything else a leader asks. Everyone will be expected to pull their fair share so that we all can enjoy the trip. We offer 2 opportunities to reduce your chores. Creation Prep Day will count as 2 chores, Also everyone who leads a 5 minute devotion before Lunch or Dinner will reduce their chores by 2. Please contact DJ if you want to lead a devo.

Q: What will we eat? Do I have to eat every meal?
A: Breakfast-Cereal (that you bring). Lunch-Sandwiches and salad. Dinner-whatever is served that night…And yes, you must eat every meal!
