The AntiEpic Gravel Grinder is a timed, single-day, open-road tour on dirt and gravel roads to the northeast of Monument, CO. This event starts and ends at the Pikes Peak Brewing in Monument, Colorado. You can ride whatever bike you’d like – gravel-specific, mountain bike, or road. Ride fast, ride social, ride however you’d like. Just remember: you only have 18 hours to complete the long-course and 9 hours to complete the short-course. Please keep in mind: it’s early May, so expect wind, cold, and possible rain, snow, and mud. Don't let the name fool you! This event is an EPIC Colorado Front Range classic and a great way to kick off your 2017 endurance cycling season!
Event highlights:
Long Course: 200 miles, 10000 feet, 18 hour time limit. $25 cost recovery fee + RMCC membership ($25/year, available through the RMCC mainpage)
Short Course: 76 miles, 5000 feet, 9 hour time limit, FREE for RMCC members.

The Rocky Mountain Cycling Club (RMCC) is Eastern Colorado's premier road bicycling club. The RMCC offers a full range of rides for serious cycling enthusiasts and for intermediate-to-advanced road cyclists. The RMCC is also Colorado's only endurance and randonneuring cycling club, offering a comprehensive collection of brevets (200 km - 1200 km) as well as the Colorado Triple Crown, a series of timed double century tours. The RMCC is also Colorado's only ultra-endurance cycling club, organizing the extremely challenging Colorado Triple Crown, a series of EPIC timed double century road cycling tours. These events are all "grass roots" in nature and are created to provide life-enhancing experiences for our club members.
