Support staff are provided by a family if their teen has more intensive toileting, diet, or behavior needs during STARS. We have plenty of DSG Staff and Volunteers at all times, but these are reserved for our teens needing more support. **A Support Staff CANNOT be a parent.**

Join STARS for a fun night at the newest gym in Kansas City, The Cheer Pitt! Teens will have the opportunity to play basketball, enjoy the bounce house, learn new cheers, enjoy music, practice their cheer and gymnastics skills, and watch some pros do some cheers. No cheering or gymnastics experience is required. There are lots of fun activities at the gym besides that. Drop off and Pick up are at the Cheer Pitt (11336 W 135th Street, Overland Park, KS 66221)

Teens ages 12 to 18 with Down syndrome are welcome to join any STARS activity throughout the school year.  Visit www.kcdsg.org/STARS for more information.  Please note, all STARS events are a no-parent zone unless otherwise specified. You must register your teen first for each event. Space is limited.
